Important XE-28 Testing Update

2009-02-26
EX28 Update
Arrow Bulletin

In recent months, we have concentrated a significant portion of our testing and development resources into identifying an optimum general starting set up for the Arrow XE-28 for both Senior National Light and Junior National Heavy classes.

It has been brought to our attention that some Arrow drivers have been opting to use the Midget Rookie X Axle (AX30X) for both the Arrow AX9 28/30 and the Arrow XE-28. This is not recommended as it is not designed for either chassis and resultantly the brake side axle key fails to protrude far enough into the disc hub. This creates a potential hazard as the brake side axle key is susceptible to sheering off completely, potentially resulting in a lack of braking ability.

During our testing we have identified what has indicated to be the most beneficial starting set up of the Arrow XE-28 for both Senior National Light and Junior National Heavy classes, in general conditions. The axle we have had good success with so far is the 40mm DPE extra soft (2mm).

We are continuing to undertake testing of the XE-28 chassis so we can provide you with the best "all round set-up". Be assured we will pass on any improvements identified in a timely manner, you can also find a report of our findings via www.arrowkarts.com.
