| ARROW DOMINATE 2010 VIC OPEN Arrow Racing Kart drivers put in an incredibly dominate performance at yet another major Australian Championship meeting, with Arrow drivers claiming 7 class titles at the 2010 Victorian Open State Championships, more than double any other chassis brand. There was no one more dominate in the Rotax Light class then well known local talent Dave Sera, who drove his Arrow X1 away from a star studded field to add yet another state title to his impressive collection. Sera lead the way from the outset, qualifying fastest and starting the Final from pole, after a comfortable showing in the Pre Final and never looked like being caught in the Final, eventually crossing the line almost 9 seconds clear of the next placed Kart. Arrow teammate Bart Price joined Sera on the Final podium, a well deserved feat after a consistent performance across the entire weekend.
It was all Arrow at the front of the Rookies field with hometown star Jake Dixon running a superb race to claim a narrow victory over fellow Arrow drivers Brock Boley and Liam McLellan in the Final. Despite leading from the front the young driver was challenged throughout the race by both McLellan and Boley with the lead being swapped on numerous occasions. It was a pleasing Final trifecta for Arrow Racing Karts.
In other Arrow News, Pro Tour I - Geelong - Jason Richards Races Arrow V8 Supercars superstar Jason Richards went back to where it all began recently, competing against some of Australia's best Karters at the Rotax Pro Tour opening round. As part of his exhaustive preparation for the upcoming 2010 racing season, the Brad Jones Racing identity got back behind the wheel of a Kart, testing his conditioning against some of the country's Karting stars and having some fun along the way. The Kart of choice was Australia's premier racing kart, an Arrow Racing Kart. Richards showed he still has what it takes behind the wheel of a Kart, with an impressive performance that had the New Zealand native consistently running within the top 5 throughout the event. |
